Mushroom gathering tours 

On the tour we will get a fascinating glimpse into the world of mushrooms - we will learn a little about the background of the living creature, its uniqueness, main lines of its character and characteristics.

We'll explore the area together, look at mushrooms, see if we can figure them out on our own, look for their hiding places, and see if they recognize our hiding places ...

We will learn how to distinguish mushrooms and identify them. We will learn at least one interesting detail about each fungus so that we can remember it in the future as well.

Location : Parking Lot - Lotem Club (near the entrance to the village)

Time frame : About five hours

 

Schedule :

10am - 12am - Indroduction and guidlines - We will learn how to identify A mushroom and a general outline of behavior when gathering in the field. Then we will dirty our hands in the woods, take a look and learn about the fungi that exist in the woods.

12: 00-14: 00 - Independent foray in the field - Experience alone. After completing the independent foray, we will review the mushrooms we found and understand what each of them has to do with our lives.

Required equipment:

• Notebook and stationery (if desired)

• Walking shoes

• Knife for picking

• If there is a basket or bucket suitable for collection (cloth bag can work too)
